Samantha Brown goes on vacation – this is her job. She is the much-celebrated host of Great Vacation Homes on the Travel Channel. Her next assignment is an exciting tour to the Hawaii for the next six months. This travel series will however, be named Girl Meets Hawaii.
Who is Samantha Brown?
She was born in Dallas, Texas on 31st March, 1969, after which her family shifted to Derry in New Hampshire where she grew up. She completed her graduation from the Pinkerton Academy. She wanted to be a dynamic travel leader for which she took 12 years of voice lessons and attended classes at Chapman University. Later on, she shifted to Syracuse University to complete her training in Musical Theater. She married Kevin James O’Leary on October 28, 2006, and they lived happily ever after.
Her professional life
At the beginning years, Samantha worked in the commercials where she was the spokesperson "Wendy Wire" in a company known as Century Cable. She also had a part to play in the comedy sketch group "Mouth" which is based in New York – a place where she spend ten years of her life. She also made appearances as an actor and a singer in multiple Broadway shows. She was also the Super Mom of HP Pavilion "Computer is Personal Again" and worked as the spokesperson in the commercials for Champion Windows.
Samantha as the travel host
Samantha is a host and she takes her viewers to several vacation destinations, vacation homes and hotels in and around US, and in other parts of the world as well. Apart from the location, Samantha makes it a point to let her viewers know about the respective activities and attractions being offered by the destination.
As being a part of the network, Samantha has hosted a number of serials like Girl Meets Hawaii, Great Hotels, Passport to Europe, and Passport to Latin America. She has also been the host of Great Vacation Homes on the CTV Travel channel.
Samantha is also known to have hosted Travel Channel specials such as the 2006 all-access special Great Cruises and a 12-night Mediterranean Venice cruise aboard the Brillance of the Seas cruise ship entitled Samantha Brown's First Cruise. Again, in the year 2007, Samantha hosted a special entitled Passport to Green Getaways. This is an attractive travelogue, which takes you to three amiable destinations of North America.
She has other assignments in line up and every assignment she does adds more to her recognition in life.
