The Thermal Spas of Italy

Italy is known for its thermal spas, which date back to the Roman times. Since the ancient times, the locals have been using these thermal waters to recover from illness and injury. The spas still continue to serve its benefits.

The main purpose of visiting the spa is to feel the best of wellness treatments. The pampered feeling delivered by an Italian spa is a great experience. The Italian spa is even more effective as it calls itself medical only after getting the recognition from the Italian Government's Health Department and they are equipped with renowned doctors. It is a bonus for the visitors as they get the opportunity to be treated with medically approved treatments and enjoy the holiday like atmosphere.

The various treatments include exercise classes in massive heated indoor and outdoor pools. Undergoing the special massage, offered by the spas will help you to improve your circulation, mobility. There is also the availability of vintage 'mud treatments' to provide you a divine pleasure. You can also work out in the spa at the well-equipped gyms. The spas also provide relief from inflammatory joints. The credibility of the treatments can be understood from the simple fact that the Italian health service pays for the treatment. The service provided is also of superior class as the medical staff will patiently listen to your problems and then treat you with the appropriate procedures. Some of the staffs are also trained from US.

The spas are a “must visit” for people suffering from Rheumatism and Arthritis. The treatment procedure usually consists of application of clay and thermal water at a temperature of 45-50 degree C for 20 minutes and then a thermal bath at a temperature of 35 degree C for 10 minutes.
