The debut of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro in Irvine creates a stir among the food lovers. This newly introduced store is a unique addition in the esteemed portfolio of P.F. Chang and it will serve as a space for the beverage and culinary teams to taste and share their innovative dishes. According to Lane Cardwell, President of the P.F. Chang’s China Bistro concept, this Irvine P.F. Chang’s China Bistro will uphold whatever knowledge this restaurant chain has gained in 18 years and it will also represent their aspirations of what they want to achieve down the line. He said that the officials of China Bistro are truly thrilled to share this noble vision with their guests and they are elated to involve the guests actively in this ongoing evolution. He added, ‘’Our goal is to delight our fans with a one-of-a-kind experience that, while innovative, remains true to the core of P.F. Chang’s.”
This Irvine China Bistro spanning an extensive area of 8, 000 square feet will feature small plates and dishes from around Asia, 90 outstanding wines from across the globe, an excellent selection of imported beer, an elaborate signature drink menu, freshly prepared loose-leaf teas and specialty coffees. Some other delectable dishes available at the store are Wok-Seared Lamb, Shrimp & Bacon Okonomiyaki and Bang-Bang Chicken Flatbread.
However, some new dishes have also been introduced at this currently unveiled P.F. Chang at the Irvine location. Some of those exotic dishes are the following:
Sichuan Roasted Half Chicken: This heavenly dish is prepared with slowly roasted chicken rubbed with Sichuan spice. It is generally served with sweet soy and crispy sesame tossed shoestring fries.
Double Cut Roasted Pork Chop: This double bone grilled pork is served with a topping of sweet chile sauce and pine apple relish.
Chinese 5 Spice Duo of Duck: One just cannot stop praising this awesome dish, prepared from slow cooked leg and crispy-skinned breast. The taste is enhanced with the serving of sesame watercress salad and a dried cherry-ginger chutney.
Sichuan Grilled Steak Frites: It is prepared by grilling flank steak, rubbed with Sichuan spice and served with garlic-black bean scampi butter.
Some other newly introduced dishes are Singapore Black Pepper Prawns and Orange-spiced Halibut.
The architecture of the restaurant is quite updated. The bar of the restaurant has been shifted to offer space for an outdoor and indoor service station that enters seamlessly onto the patio. The entrance of the restaurant has also been relocated to bear with the changes in mall traffic. The unique store is admired with P.F. Chang’s original trademark horse, warrior and hand-painted mural and all of these items have been made more attractive with exquisite expression.
P.F. Chang is situated in the Irvine Spectrum Center. The restaurant remains open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
