Holland America line is all set to launch a range of exciting new itineraries in respond to the growing popularity of cruising in Europe. With opening of new ports, this celebrated cruise line has decided to offer more maiden calls along with exciting new itineraries. Whether it is long Collector’s Voyage or shorter duration cruise, Holland America Line is confident to lure hoards of cruise enthusiasts with these new European itineraries. The cruising duration, ranging from 7 to 64 days will allow the guests to explore an array of destinations, starting from famous ports to small, less popular yet amazing port cities.
The line will deploy seven ships to Europe. Those seven ships sailing on more than 53 unique European itineraries, includes MS Eurodam, MS Nieuw Amsterdam, MS Nooedam, MS Prinsendam, MS Rotterdam, MS Ryndam and MS Veendam. All these ships will sail across the region, on 107 departures that will span from the far northern tip of Norway to the Black Sea and across the Mediterranean.
In 2013, Holland America Line is likely to focus on destination variety, eternal appeal and quality. The Maiden pot calls include Alanya, Turkey; Alcudia, Spain; Galway and Killybegs, Ireland; Hydra and Igoumenitsa, Greece; and Sassnitz, Germany. The cruise line is arranging overnight stays at some of the most popular ports of Europe, allowing the travelers to explore those exotic destinations. Overnight calls include Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Barcelona, Spain; Copenhagen, Denmark; Bordeaux, France; Dublin, Ireland; Venice, Italy; Hamburg, Germany; St Petersburg, Russia; Istanbul, Turkey and more.
Notable New Itineraries
Ryndam’s seven-day Turkish Explorer voyage cruises round-trip from Piraeus (Athens), Greece with calls that will let the privileged guests to witness the exotic landmarks and prominent highlights of Turkey and Greece, which also includes an overnight stay in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Noordam’s 11-day Adriatic Explorer voyage will sail between Civitavecchia (Rome) and Piraeus (Athens), and explore the historical ports, that were once dominated by legendary Greek and Roman empires.
Prinsendam’s 16-day Mediterranean Explorer itinerary sails from Barcelona to Piraeus (Athens). This cruise will offer guests the golden opportunity of experiencing the uniqueness of a range of legendary ports, such as Sete and Toulan, France; Brindisi, Italy; and Igoumenitsa and Hydra, Greece.
Popular Itineraries Return
The line of brand new vessels - Nieuw Amsterdam, Veendam and Rotterdam, launched by this Holland America cruise line will also offer popular itineraries return. The Nieuw Amsterdam, which can accommodate 2,106 passengers, will cruise across the Mediterranean, halting at some of the most famous ports of the region, including Marseille, France to Dubrovnik, Croatia. The exciting itineraries will allow guests to witness the splendor of Norway coastline, explore the Baltic and discover the Canary Islands. Veendam will also sail a 35-day voyage across the Atlantic to visit ports in Iceland, Greenland, Norway and the Faroe Islands.
