El gaucho restaurants have introduced a super saving offer this week in US. Buying at least two entrees by two to three guests will allow a $50 off on the bill. Four to five guests ordering at least four entrees will give $100 off, and for six or more guests buying at least six entrees will save $150 from the bill. The owner Chad Mackay believes that happy hours account for less than 10 percent of El Gaucho’s business. Therefore, these offers will be available for dinners except happy hours.
Mackay being the President and COO of Mackay Restaurants wants to test the response of people through his campaigns. A series of eight to nine day test campaign is waiting for people. These offers are kept, to drive their business too.
Mackay is the owner of numerous high-end restaurants like El Gaucho steakhouses in Seattle, Bellevue, Portland and Tacoma, plus a seafood restaurant, Aqua by El Gaucho at Seattle’s Pier 70. These are meant for the corporate officers and business clients who often come here to celebrate occasions with a splurge meal. There is a special offer in El Gaucho’s Gridiron Society in which groups of top 500 customers are going to benefit.
The ‘happy hours’ timing of these restaurants, do not occur at the same time. Each one has a different timing for these offers. The chain of El Gaucho restaurant uses modern technique of informing the regular guests about their offers, by sending e-mails to them. Since most of the guests opened their mails on smart phones, now El Gaucho restaurants have decided to send information about their offers directly on their mobile phone numbers.
