Loyal Hotel land up for sale for £1.2m

The land of Loyal Hotel, a 19th century mansion house is up for sale in Perthshire Scotland. It is Colliers International that is inviting offers for the Lands of Loyal hotel in Alyth, Blairgowrie at £1.2m. The land is a building plot on which consent for detailed planning of a single residential house is also a part of the sale package. This is a historic mansion house which also offers spectacular views of the Strathmore to the Sidlaw Hills. This huge mansion has been in use as a hotel from 1945 and is located on some 4.5 acres of garden grounds.

The house of the Loyal Hotel is built by the Ogilvie family and has 17 letting bedrooms with two suites in the annex along with restaurants and a bar, quite a number of public rooms which also includes a private suite for owners/managers.

According to Alistair Letham, a director with selling agents Colliers International, the land of the Loyal Hotel has a wonderful location in the very populated Perthshire countryside. Beside, the hotel has an excellent established base of custom and offers great potential for growth and development for new trade with resident traders. 

The name of the hotel was given by Queen Victoria and this beautiful small hotel is located in Comrie, near Crieff in the middle of the splendid Strathearn and the Southern Scottish Highlands. The house is restored by its owners in 1996 with the attempt of creating an intimate, beautiful, luxury and small hotel in Scotland and would be perfect for the very special break of people.
